What can I do about apartment complex illegally removing asbestos?

My condominium complex has removed asbestos from the corridor outside my apartment without even saying that we were doing this. The corridor is very long and there 's about 20 doors in the corridor that leads in the apartments. When they were removing asbestos everyone who lives here has had to breath it and dust it also entered into where ever we live we have opened our door. Can I mention this? They are saying that it wasn 't but to asbestos in the first place when we moved in we were told that about asbestos and said not to disturb him and not leave it alone and now they are saying wasn' t to asbestos but just ordinary paint. Who can tell me about this and how can I prove that asbestos was removed if they are saying wasn 't? The people here have small children and all children who had to breath this cancer causing chemical. Any help regarding this matter will be greatly appreciated.
