Asbestos related cancer is called mesothelioma. This is an aggressive cancer which affects the mesothelial cells. Mesothelial cells provide a protective layer which lines the body’s main cavities and internal organs. Asbestos related cancer primarily affects the mesothelial cells lining the lungs. (more…)
